Can anyone ID this lizard?

Hollywood Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

I have tons of lizards in my yard but had never seen one like this until today and there were two of them. He is about 8" from head to tail. I thought there was a critter forum on DG but couldn't find it.

And it looks well fed and happy too !
You're lucky to have them. They'll keep your garden pest free.

Its one of many Scleroporus sp. or Fence Lizards.

Are they the ones with the blue belly ?

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

I've seen only one blue lizard here, but he was beautiful. Hope to see another, especially since DH thought I was hallucinating! LOL

The males have bilateral blue patches on the undersides, but the females don't tend to have much coloration there. Can't see the blue from top side.
