Pretty Kassia, love those new pots.
Hello everyone!
nice Kassia!
Very nice, Kass.
You do good work, Kassia!
thanks... coming from you guys it's trully a compliment!!!! I hope you guys have a chance to stop by this year... I know the RU is at Karen's but please feel free to come and see me... it would be so great... I am having a party for some of my friends from work and just friends in June so I will let you guys know.
Hi Kassia, I have been dieing to find out which rose this is that you started a thread with? http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=6158268 Everytime I clicked on the NE forum I would drool over it. : )
Meredith, that looks like Tuscan Sun.
Thanks so much. : )
Meredith, that is Tuscan Sun... one of my favorites... just got 2 new ones... this one is not doing so well.. which makes me so sad...
Thank you Kassia, it is so pretty. Looks like Venu knows roses. :) I am going to look that one up.I hope your new ones do better. : )
Meredith, get this one if you find it... never fails to amaze me... what a great rose...
Venu knows her roses!!!! lol...
this week there is an "explosion" - every plant just decided to grow with a vengeance! could not believe it... all the leaves are out in all my trees! the grass is a foot tall in some areas! goodness gracious! what an exciting time!
here goes some gorgeous irises... they are so wonderful...
nice Kassia.... and your welcome!
All very pretty! I've been wanting a variegated iris, now I want one even more. : )
I went and looked up Tuscan Sun and unfortunately for me, it says hardy to zone 6. Bummer
The short Iris with the vibrant color is from me ^_^ it's name is "jewel baby'.

Jewel Baby is one of the prettiest flowers I've ever seen! Gasp!
Mine aren't in bloom yet.good thing cause the bed still has weeds in it. Eeeeek!
Can't help but think of a circus when I read 'dwarf bearded iris'!
Funny, Victor! LOL
Kassia, those are lovely blooms! I can't believe your iris are already blooming! My daylilies are about a foot higher than in years past at this time, and my iris's are up, but nowhere near ready to bloom! One of my rose canes (remember that really tall climber you id'd for me, Kassia, in the Friendship Garden????) is about 12 feet straight up in the air. We bent it over to form a hoop in the garden.
oh Celeste, thanks... I love it! I divided last year and of course they look weird because they are scattered around but now I will definitley tag them... really great...
Louise, my daylilies are short still... this week the yellow irises just decided to open... some rebloom in the fall, really great... oh I can just imagine your rose... I had one like this also and this one is not a climber! so let's see what is going to happen... tomorrow I have to give the poor rose bush a dressing - a real dressing... today the wind was so strong that this poor plant almost broke... so tomorrow I have to give hear a bandage to support the plant where it almost broke...
that varigeated iris is soooo gorgeous... wish mine produces a big clump new year!
hi kassia - just saw this thread - did not see if anyone answered your select seeds question - i order from them, they are reliable.
Thanks Wha... my order arrived really good plants... I actually want to go there! it's not so far from me...
Hi Kassia. Here's a shot of my out-of-control rose in the friendship garden. I have bent it into a hoop-like circle with the use of a plant stake with a loop at the top. I am laughing at your nursing approach to bandaging your poor little rose! Lucky rose that you have that kind of training!! Be sure to take its temp while you have your medical bag handy. LOL
oh Louise, we have the same problem... Isabel is just like yours... has a big loop... and I just saw that I have to do another dressing on another place... I am wondering if this us good ot not... but I have to try cause the poor thing looks like it has a fracture... so far she seems to be ok since its still growing...lol...
I don't see how it could hurt to give Isabel your special brand of TLC!! I know you told me some good stuff about this rose when you were here, but now I can't remember what your advice was! LOL I do remember that you were educating me on where to prune........I think I may have missed the boat, judging from the look of this Hoopster!!!
Hi,
