growing from root cuttings and stem cuttings

Floyd, VA(Zone 6b)

This must have been covered many times, but I can't find lists.
What can I propagate from root cuttings?
What can I propagate from stem cuttings?

I have rooted over ten brug cuttings in perlite this spring.
I just added coleus, impatiens, and monarda to a shoebox of perlite + water with superthrive and hydrogen peroxide. I intend to water them with water enriched with kelp granules too.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Hi: I tend to do things a bit differently but it sounds like you have the basics covered for your shoe box. What do you want to know about propagation? I have been the meadiator on my own thread that started out as propagation and has morphed into something completely different. Here is the link to the intro on how I do cuttings.

I hope this helps

Here's a link to propagating that has all the basics for hard, soft, semi-soft and stem cuttings. Lots of good info and ideas throughout the website.
