Eleven months ago today we had Coffee bred and this morning she has given us a beautiful little boy. We thought since it was only 11 months gestation it oughta been a filly so we named him Awdda Ben and we will call him Ben. When we got to the barn he had not been on his feet yet and he was still wet. Before we left he was up and doing well. He had nursed 3 times and had 2 bowel movements. I soaked his navel in iodine. Coffee is a good mother and she is very tolerant of us being in with the two of them. We will be going back to the barn when Knock gets home to let him see Ben. He will be excited.
