Heroes on board

Zone 6, OH(Zone 6a)

I think you may have heard by now about what happened on the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania. That plane was bound for (possibly) the White House, the capitol building or another prominent target. A few passengers on board decided to take matter in their own hands after learning that the plane would be crashed into a building...and they had to know they would surely die if they acted. Because of their acts, we were surely spared another horrific event. I think we as a country should be thanking these families for their loved ones heroic acts. It gives me chills to think what would have happened if that plane had crashed into the White House. Can you imagine?

Jon, I've thought the same (very grateful) thoughts. It does sound - from the interviews with their families - that the passengers had heard about the first plane hitting the WTC, and figured they were probably going to die, too - became determined to do whatever they could to thwart the hijackers' plans for their plane.

God bless them for their actions, and I pray their families are comforted by the knowledge that they died fighting to protect their country.

I agree we should remember and thank those people on board the plane who crashed in PA as National HEROES; surely they must have managed to crash the airplane rather than let the hijackers play out their mission.
