Although certainly antlike (and definitely not a termite) in appearance, the image is too blurry to be absolutely certain. For example, neither the antennae or the petiole ('waist') can be seen clearly. If the antennae are strongly elbowed and the petiole segment(s) bear one or more dorsal nodes (see http://tinyurl.com/ccrhcl), then it would indeed be an ant. Otherwise, it could be any of several species of small wasp, all harmless.
