Red Cross Seeks Tech Donations

TechTV reports that the Red Cross is in great need of computer equipment as well as tech volunteers:

"The New York American Red Cross is in dire need of technology equipment and services. The field workers and sites have little, if any, means of communication and the central office is processing way too much on completely paper systems. Your help in acquiring these resources would be greatly appreciated."

There's a specific list of what's needed as well as contact info for those wishing to donate items or volunteer.
they need everything from RAM to laptops, velcro cable wraps to documents scanners...

By the way, when I stopped by the post office to mail some RAM, the lady told me delivery to NYC is going again, and things addressed to the Red Cross sent via Priority Mail will definitely be taken care of! :o)
