Darn Tractor Supply!

Richmond, TX

Our TSC still has quite a supply of chicks and ducks and has marked the prices down. They still only want to sell them in groups of six. My daughter may get ducks for her birthday! In another thread Rose Girl showed pictures of yellowish ducks with slight brown markings on the head. Can anyone tell me what they were? Duckmother? Some of them have the profile of runners...That is the the color of theTSC ducks but their faces looked more like Pekins. Sorry, without a picture an ID is pretty unlikely, I guess.

Shuck's Cat. I'd forgotten that.LOL Speaking about friends Cat!! You are my friend! Aren't you? Now on the serious side of things. Do you ever sell fertile eggs? It's the marans i'm interested in, like blue copper, black copper, white, or splash? There is also a silver but very rare. The Marans is what I would really like to develope. If you do or are interested let me know. Oh and ZZ's really only warned me about your sweetness. Haystack.

I would sell fertile eggs if I had any anyone wanted....I hatched out three black, one blue and one blue copper Marans. ZZ has all the pullets. The blue copper is really unusual and the egg, although not as dark as the black copper, is pretty dark.

ZZ is extremely trusting...I am, in reality, PURE EVIL:0)

Pants on fire Catscan!
that's insane... you EVIL? Give me a break..

Hey Cindy!!! How many chickens do you have now? Your birds look really good, I love that red and white color. I see Tractor Supply advertised often on t.v. but it never tells where there is one. I think I'm lusting. LOL Haystack

Cindy!!! Your such a push over, O. C . D. Isn't that that disease ZZ's and Catscan have been spreading through out the forum. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Speaking of O. C. D. I just posted and ad on Craigs list trying to solict Three others to work with me and trying to establish an annual Chicken Swap Meet.

Clarkson, KY

LOL, Hay!!

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh gosh.. I did a store search and there are 4 within 40 minutes or so.. One is very close.. OH NO>>>>

Haystack I am not kidding.. I wanted to do that same thing! There is no place around here other than livestock auctions to swap, sell, etc. I found a place on Craigslist that has an auction once a month.. I missed the first one which was on the 19th... but I hope to go to another one soon. (My pickup has a faulty transmission) I'm scared to go too far in it.
Anyway, the lady said they charge 25% for expenses, which would be fine with me.. just to have real chicken people see what I have to "rehome" it's not the money as much as it is that they know about the breeds.

Good luck on your venture.. I hope it works out!!

Yes, I am OCD and whoever comes here is in danger.. :)

What is the Tour de Coop thread you are discussing? Where do I find it? Thanks, Jeanette
