Do you recognize this one as L. Desiree?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

I couldn't locate my records on this one, but I have a nice tag with it. Seems familiar to ya?

Nery, that does look familiar to me, I'm wondering if its from one of our Ednie co ops? I'm looking at pics on the Ednie site, and it kinda looks like Fangio, only yours looks flatter and more open. Say you have a nice tag with it? Faded I guess?

It looks just like 'Toronto' from Endine

Did you get it in the co-op last year maybe?

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Yep, sure did! I didn't even look at the Asiatics, was thinking it was probably an LA hybrid. It looks like a match!

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Boy it looks exactly like Toronto, doesn't it? I stay away from asiatics 'cause the hybrids do better but I don't see how it couldn't be Toronto. I have it planted next to rosa Carefree Celebration, which is the coral-pink tone and it is divine. I think I will cut a flower and bring indoors. I will have to replace the tag. It is possible that the guy that helps me with the yard accidentally yanked the label and put it anywhere, but just before I discovered the mishap.

Poor guy, he knows I'm anal about those neon markers.

Hmm... this is my Toronto. The Lily Registrar lists its description as

"Inside strong purplish red (54A), light yellow (21D) at the base; outside deep purplish pink (54B); spots and papillae present; nectaries green; pollen reddish brown; stigma purple. Petal tips recurved. Stems 1.5m, green, with darker stripes and spots."

Hey voss ~ Happy Birthday!!

Nery, here's one from Ednie a few years ago, Volendam:

I'm thinking you were one of the 5 of us who got 5 each of 5 varieties that year from Wooden Shoe?

Thank you Moby and Neal for the b/day wishes. I've been wearing my tiara all day, so the world is in order, lol.

Unfortunately I did not keep good lily records prior to 2008. Volendam, Batisero nor Fangio ring a bell. Moby, I would not say my lily is pink, it is more coral, so I don't know what to say. I do have a good journal, so I will go back to 2006, 2007 and see what I unearth.
