Hi Taylor;
That is normal for packing plants when it's still cold, it's house insulation & works very well.Mostly everyone uses it. Good to see such nice plants & leaves.
bonnie
Ooh! Someone loves the ruffles! Me too--the leprechaun one is beautiful! Nice choices--Congratulations!
Bonnie-
I'm glad you told me that packing avs in insulation was "normal", because I was thinking about saying something about it to her...
I'll just keep my mouth shut to her...but I still didn't like it. I've had to do wiring in the attic and have had that get into my skin, and into my lungs, and I hate that stuff...
So for all of you that have ordered many av orders, were they good size, or small, or what you expected??

Hi ,
I know this is an older thread but I wanted to say that Karin is my favorite seller on ebay , she is so nice and sells so many hard to find and just so lovely violets and she hybridizes her own Episias and they are gorgeous , she is number one in my book of sellers and just nice folks .
Connie Lynn
In the grand scheme of things, this isn't an old thread at all! I've brought threads out of mothballs, just to get an update!
She is a good vendor . . . I wish she had Playful Dreamer, though! ^_^
is that a violet?
Yes, it's a violet. It's not even an old one, if I remember . . . I'd have to check FC once I got home . . . it does have a registry number of 7983 . . .

these folks used to have it,still might,i did a search for this and came up with this greenhouse, you might even check lyons as its one of there hybrids
JIM
Oh, so you think they'd have it, even though it's not listed on their site? That's a great idea! Thanks, Jim!! ^_^
Kaspersky wouldn't let me click on that site...it said it was infected with the trojan ad-clicker
-T
I didn't have a problem.Try just typing in Reeds Greenhouse in your search box and it should be easy to find.
What service for internet protection do you use??...just typed it in that way, and it warned me, again.
There is a trojan clicker laying dormant on that site. I would not recommend visiting until that site runs a scan. Kaspersky has always been correct for me.
Just wanting to give a heads up...my old norton never caught stuff like that and that is why I used to get so many computer problems...
-T
hmmm...I use Webroot--have no problems going to Steve's site.
Well not trying to sound alarms, but just be cautious.
The geek squad used webroot to scan my computer and found nothing...just like norton, but i knew it had been acting funny.
Installed kaspersky, and it found 12 trojans that webroot and norton had missed. I just don't trust anyone but kaspersky, now, but again, not trying to alarm anyone, but be careful. Check your "history" tab and see if they detected it, but just didn't do a pop up warning...
It usually isn't necessarily the sites fault, but just a trojan waiting on the site to hitchhike a ride to your computer. But many sites will says something like "site protected by McAfee" or something, and many even list a last scan date.
HUH! Hadn't heard of kaspersky---will look into it--is it expensive?
Hi All ,
I wanted to wish all you wonderful moms a Happy Mother's Day , hope you get to see , hug and squeeze all the ones you love on your day , I know my mom is the best in the world and your's are too :)
Connie Lynn giving you all hugs
no, it isn't expensive...I was basically the same price as the others, only rated much higher(#1)
I think it may have been $10 more, but nothing to really even mention.
My norton was expiring in a few months(at that time), so went ahead and got the Kaspersky(green box) to replace it early. One other nice feature is that it has a virtual keyboard, so that you can mouse click your passwords and credit card numbers online, so that keyloggers cannot record your keystrokes, and thus gain access to your critical information...in other words you don't keystroke your criticals, you mouse click them, and they cannot get mouse-clicked information.
Even if you do not have Kaspersky, you should always use your own computer's virtual keyboard for critical information, to guard against keyloggers and identity theft.
*start
*all programs
*accessories
*accessibility
*on-screen keyboard
One of the things I think is most different about this particular software is that it is very particular about keeping you up to date on the most current versions of softwares, and also patches. That is in fact how access was gained by hackers into my computer back then. My Photoshop had not been updated with the right patches, and they snuck in that "backdoor"(most antivirus and internet security softwares ignore actions by programs that they consider harmless...that is why Norton ignored the photoshop making changes to windows!
When browsing the internet I feel much safer now, too because I can browse away and every now and then it will tell me that the access was denied to view that site, and why. That is what started all this...that site was denied due to the ad-clicker trojan. That one will ppop up horrid ads on your screen and while they are popped up it will download programs to your computer.
I asked the geek squad why they used webroot to scan all the computers that people bring in...they said because webroot provides it for free...not because it is the best...
Ah, good old marketing!
Connie-(((hugs)))
Wow...ashamed to admit it, but I didn't even know the 'on screen keyboard' existed!
Good info, thanks, Connie!
