this little guy come up with just one leaf. no it didnt have a second as you can see in the pic none were tore off or anything. just one leaf. hopefully he will devolop ok with just one.

he came out a pck of ensign convovulusis

Another oddity of nature. You've been getting some pretty weird germinations/seedlings. What's in your soil or water? Do the plants glow in the dark? Inquiring minds want to know! LOL!

no they dont glow in dark. nothing special in water i dont think. they get regular tap water. lol


i bought this pack at walmart. the other one with 2 feets came from a yellow mix is all the baggie said.

im waiting for one of the to talk or something next. heheh

imzadi, looking at you soil, I bet there is tons of little creepy crawlies in your soil...I lost many MGs this year due to the fact that it was still somewhat cold. If conditions are not ideal, it gives a headstart to "parasites" even though strictly speaking this microorganisms in the soil are no parasites but doing you a favour by producing compost. I've noticed that these microorganisms get into the the freshly sprouted seeds and start nibbling away... they like anything that's starchy and have eaten holes into my beans sprouts...so the other cotyledon may just have been nibbled off...

NOPE this guy has only one leaf. i started all my Morning glories in baggies with paper towels. if you look at pic there are no nibble marks or anything.

i only plant them in dirt once i see them going most of the time the seed is already off them when i plant them.


this little guy has not tryied to put out any true leaves as it would if had been nibbled off. there is no splits in him at all. so this is just an oddity to go with my others.
