Can any one identify. This has been in our yard since we moved here 31 years ago and we have never really know exactly what it was... Here is a close up of leaves and flower.

It looks to be quite happy with lots of blooms. The plant below, Aegopodium podagraria 'Variegatum' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/546/ always makes me cringe as its quite invasive here.
So, this is otherwise called Oregon Grape.
It likes to be pruned after flowering, taking about 1/3 of the straggly stems to the ground to keep it full. Yours looks fine anyway, but if you wish to fill it out some, try that. Ciao
