Spare a thought

The trgedy of these hostile evens will ripple for some time to come, everyone is praying for survivours, and there are some, this in it self is a sign of hope, but time is the killer of hope in theses siuations.

Spare a thought for the people involved in the clean up and rescue, for it is they who will have the nightmares long after this is cleared away, and for another reason, what they are going to find, and what they are going to see will be with them for the rest of thier lives, there is no ammount of counciling for what awaits there eyes, they too will need all the support they can get, physically, mentally and spirtially, they have the uneviable task of looking into what most of you, thankfully will never see, you will all, as will the world remember September 11th, for those on the ground in New York, they will never be able to forget, so spare them a thought in your prayers too.

Ther is nothing more damaging to the heart and mind, than the sight of human carnage, caused by inhuman minds.

You are so right. I turned on the tv awhile ago and they showed a fireman crying. These people are running on adrenaline and they have got to be emotionally and physically drained. I'm sure they will be experiencing the post war type of trauma that we heard so much about with the Vietnam vets.

They have been and will definitely continue to be in my prayers. Lord knows they need it so badly.

Well said!
