it has been very exciting the past two weeks watching this little bud grow into a fantastic bloom worth 100s of pictures

now I know why it looks in the pictures like the bloom is the whole plant its because the bloom is so large on the pinched back plan, that it over powers it.

Just beautiful.. The Japanese growers pinch and I imagine that how they probably feel, seeing such a big bloom on a small plant.

well I have been addicted to gardening for 20 years this is just starting me into a new direction so expending my expertise the growing of JMGs in the winter which is great with all of the south facing windows I have, I will be starting them in the fall this year and growing them all winter

there is two more buds on the same plant one will open tonight or tomorrow and then one more in a couple of days
