I shop at Sams Club and sometimes stop for a berry sundae. It comes in a 9oz cup with dome lid. So far, I have four of them. I've rooted hoya cuttings in hydroton in them. I put a smaller cup in side with the holes one inch from bottom. It works great. Never thought of trying it with violet or other gessie leaves. I'll have to go and have me some more sundaes and save the cups and domes. LOL
OMGosh!! ...too cute! I love these
Yes, I was thinking the same thing about starbucks, lol...great excuse to buy a cold coffee treat :0)
Sam's, Costco, and other wholesale type stores may even carry those type of cups and lids but of course you'd have to buy an entire case of them.
DH and I are going to Sam's in a couple of hours, so I will take a look and see if they carry them. LOL, I know my husband will ask me why in the world I'm looking for something like that plastic cups and lids! We don't shop at Sam's a lot but are making a trip because we are almost out of Paper Towels, Kleenex, Toilet Paper. I also get large bags of MG potting soil when they have it and I'm out of soil, so that is on my list, as well as a couple of large bags of dog food and cat food that we donate to our local humane society.
Will post later on whether they have the plastic solo type cups and dome lids.
Kim's site also has wicking contaners!
