I'm new to the propagating thing and would like to know what is the best way to root Mandevilla?

From Hortchat.com, I found this for Mandevilla cuttings:

To start new cuttings - take a cutting off a side shoot about 4-6 inches including a node.

Remove lower leaves and dip in rooting hormone.

Insert in a sandy rooting soil or 50/50 perlite/vermiculite medium and water in.

Place in plastic bag in bright light away from direct sun.

It should root in 4wks.

This should be done in the summer.
