I recently bought 2 different brands of impatiens seed.to compare the contents to a package I have had for several years in my garage. The two I purchased were identical in characteristics (brown and kind of flat and thin in nature). The one I had in my garage contained white round seeds in a dusty mix. Are seedlings ever packaged in a mix? And should they be round and white?
Impatiens Seeds
Those are pelletted. They have a clay coating around the seed for easy planting. Just press them into the soil.
Thank you. My daughter and I just started seeding today for the very first time. I hope we are successful and able to transplant in about 8 weeks.
