how to make stump rot

i have alot of stumps in my yard and am wondering what i can use to rot them.i don't want to dig them up.i wonder how much stump removal is hmm.

They charge about $50 a stump where I am. More if you just want one stump.

You can rent a stump grinder for $150-200 a day and it's well worth it if you have a bunch of stumps. Not hard to use, you do need a trailer hitch to tow it.

Old school would be rock salt poured into some drilled holes. You can also get these sticks that burn for a long time and will burn out a stump fairly well.
