This insect was found in my home wandering in my bathroom last night, and then again this morning where we caught it and snapped some photos (The best of which is included). We looked online to attempt to identify it, but were unsuccessful. We live in Northern Ontario if that helps at all. Hopefully you can shed some light on this topic and tell us What the heck this bug is!

Try something like boxelder bug. A Hemiptera for sure. (true bug)
This bug is in the family Coreidae (leaf-footed bugs). It appears to be a western conifer seed bug, Leptoglossus occidentalis - a pest species that often comes indoors in search of shelter. See http://tinyurl.com/8djb6f for an image and more information.
