I'm Back from the grave - hope you can cope !!

I haven't been here for a long time now. There was a bust up on another forum and it sort of put me off. (Long story, details not needed or necessary)
So, I've spent quite some time over at Spike's, but only on the one thread since the others had got REALLY boring : come the summer holidays I didn't look at acomputer at all (I know a lot of you will find that hard to believe but it's true) and I returned after the break, children out of the house and peace and tranquillity once more regained only to find that Mr Spike has decided to make the one thread I like fee paying.

Now, technically, I have been here a lot longer than the GPers who are right nowe appearing, but since I haven't posted for absolutely ages I suppose I technically qualify as a newbie so for those of you who don't know me I'll do a little introduction, if I may,

I'm Jo : I have 5 sons, one of whom is living in New Zealand. I live in Yorkshire, England but was born in London and have retained the accent (when I choose to use it - generally I use a neutral accent) which can be very useful when dealing with certain types who need putting in their place !
I'm gorgeous, intelligent, talented and very, very modest.

I've missed the camaraderie that I used to have on DG and I am hoping that I will rediscover it now that so many of my friends from 'over there' are coming here.

(By the way Michele, how's it feel to be a newbie : are you going to tell them about the coconuts yet?)

If I or any of the other new arrivals accidentally tread on toes, please forgive us - this is, as I recall, a gentler site than t'other place and we may have to adjust a little.

Since I don't want to take up the entire bandwidth I'll stop now. But I'd like to say hi to all those I used to chat to - hope you are all still here !!

Love and hugs to all
