This catepillar is on my bluebonnets and eating them at a rapid pace. There's a webbing too! Help! If it's a beneficial I'll leave it alone, but I've never known one to host on bluebonnets. They're spreading quickly so I really need help. Thanks

This is one of many things I found when I googled bluebonnet as host food - guess i'll leave the ugly little critters alone and be glad I'm a part of the chain!
Texas bluebonnet (Lupinus texensis) - for suffused cloudy wing, gray hairstreak, Henry's elfin, painted lady, American painted lady, orange sulphur

You can move the caterpillars to a different location and feed with cuttings from your plants. This is advice I've seen in a few gardening books. It may also take other leaves as food.
