This dead insect welcomed me home today in my back yard in Cleveland. The image is unfortunately tarnished by the quality of the iPhone. It's hard to tell, but the wings are pink and the total thing is a little over two inches long. The middle section is yellow and the back consist of varying shades of blue. I'll try to post a profile view in a followup message.

Appears to be a toy/ornament of some kind; I would call it a humbug...
I would certainly be embarrassed if that were true.
it really appears to be a potted plant ornament. :)
