Species lilieswhat is the best site for them?

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8b)

Hi there,
I recently bought some species lily bulbs called 'Scarlet Delight'. I have not tried species lilies before, but have read that they don't like to be moved once they are planted. I also read that it may take a couple of years or more before I see blooms.
I am in hot and humid East Texas zone 8b.
What would be the best location for these bulbs?
Any cultivation advice you can offer is appreciated.

You were tricked by the seller. Scarlet Delight is a hybrid (orienpet I believe) The good news is you shouldn't have a worry since it is a hybrid, not a species. It is similar to the orienpet Black Beauty. Who fraudently sold this to you as a species? Name names!!

Eeek I bought it from KVB wholesale. I think it is still on their website. I've been delighted with everything I bought from them. In the ad it says Specie Lily. Now was that not a typo for the word species? They are listed under "Special Lilies" and not with the hybrids.
Either way, the bulbs I got from them are HUGE and very healthy in the package.
Here is the link to the page from the website. (not sure if it will show up for me but here it is)

You'll also see blooms this year most likely! Some Lily growers in your zone prefer to give them some protection from the hot afternoon sun, but OTs in general are among the most heat tolerant Lilies.
