How was your day...137 ???

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

A fine Sunday morning here, a little cooler than it had been, we are awaiting the arrival of a cooler spell with more rain starting tomorrow. These spring showers sure perk up the plants, since last week when we got all that rain, things have greened up overnight, it seems. Trees (some) are full of leaves, grass is growing and neighbors are mowing, the spring flowers are out dancing in the breeze. Beautiful time of the year when everything is waking up from the winter sleep.

DD and I went to Ikea yesterday but didnt realize they were having a sale on glass jars that brought customers from every corner of the country, it seems. We got there at 10am, just when they were opening and there were hundreds of people lined up for the jars. No stampede to get in but the line spread throughout the entire store from the front door all the way to the checkouts..(anyone that has been in an Ikea knows how long this line was). We looked around a little but it was too much trying to get around all those people so we finally gave up and left..decided to go to Soup 'r Salad for lunch and then spent time finding it. We thought they maybe had gone out of business, but nope..there it was, in a new building, but still the great choices of soups and/or salads..sure hit the spot. After a stop at Lowes,we finally made it home.

Today we are going to see a movie..we will see "Knowing". Hope its a good one.
