I know alot of you are not local, but is there anyone out there going to the Austin show/sale tomorrow?

Steven from Steven's Plant Shop was a judge for the Austin show, and I got a big hug from him. One other member of my club was there too . . . I'm not sure if Danny was a judge, or if he was just there.

I spent so much time taking pictures, the pickings were slim. I did manage to get a decent size Windy Day (lower left), decided to give Playful Rainbow and Playful Spectrum another chance each, and because Steven gasped when he saw them, I got a 2-leaf packet of Persian Lace.

(really, he did! I turned to the lady and said "I want what he just saw!") ^_^

I've got pix from the Design area too, but I won't post unless someone wants to see.

No, there weren't many left. Only a larger plant, no leaves. The one that I did see for sale was in I think a 6" pot for $15.00. It had a pink bloom . . . don't remember what it's name was . . . sorry. I should have gotten there sooner.

Hi Everybody,
I went to a small local show today,hosted by the Omaha AV & Gessie Society.The displays were gorgeous,but like Syru's show,there wasn't a lot offered to buy,except for very expensive plants.It is a two day show and I got there at noon,but others must have been much earlier.I will post a few pictures.

Anyway,I had a great time and spoke to Kent Stork for a brief time.We haven't seen one another since he had his store in Arlington,Ne back in the late 70's or early eighties,so we are really strangers,but I admire he and his wife's plants so much!
