I've thought about this before. If the Aliens are taking us and are making sure our "families" are taken care of, that would include pets, would it not?

LotR is still my answer. I find adventure AND comfort in that story.

Same thing I do with my fabric when I am not sewing on a particular piece---just love on it!!! LOL Once they said family was all safe that is my next most precious item!!!

Well, when we had our fire 3 weeks ago, the first thing that I had to gather up was my cats. Because they are living creatures. Everything else was just "stuff". I couldn't NOT try and get my kitties out.

This is hard I just love the duct tape I was thinking about that before I read but than If you could only bring 1 think I wood bring Sun flower seeds Cause you can eat them , make oil out of them, and maybe even flour. I sure hope that they have dirt up there or is it down there Oh what to do what to do

Well, if pets ARE family (and I think they are, but, then, who knows how the minds of aliens would work???) I guess I would take my iPod, since i have all my music on it, and a whole bunch of pix. The headphones would be connected to it, of course. Makes it count as 1 item. LOL
