It's still cool here in zone 5b, but there are signs that spring is on the way. The daffodils in a sheltered area on the south side of my house are now blooming (daffodils in other areas of the garden are up, but not yet open). Forsythia and star magnolias are in bloom in other gardens, but mine are still 'coming'.
Spring's here tomorrow!
The Greek windflowers (hardy anemones) I planted along my fence last fall have poked through the fallen leaves to give a preview of the blooms to come on the narcissis, hyacinths and daffodils planted around them. Notice the natural fertilizer I spread on this bed last December?
