Need help with a rice question

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

I would like to make a simple dish out of chicken, rice and soup. I know it is done all the time but I don't bake much. How much soup ( liquid ) to how much rice? I know the rice is put in raw. When I make rice I always boil and strain it so steaming or baking raw is a new concept for me. Thanks.
