Hi all! I just rec'd my heat mat from the co-op going on here and I wanted to know if I can use it on the seedlings I have already going. 2/3 of my toms are up and on 2 or 3 of the peppers have popped up. If I put them on the heat mat now, will the peppers do better? Will it hurt the toms? they are in the same tray.

heat mat question
Generally you use the heat mats until they germinate and then take them off--keeping the heat under there once the seeds have sprouted can result in them getting leggy.
