Okay the Aliens are coming; what's your last meal?
Mine:
Biscuits & Gravy; w/a side of applesauce.
Made by my mother, lard used in the biscuits, fresh out of the oven; smathered w/butter. Topped with gravy, loaded w/sausage and the pan scrappings. Applesauce made fresh, still warm, lightly chunky, a hint of cinnamon.
Whoozing with Love.
(if I served that today, my kids would say I was trying to kill'em w/fat!)
