Im soaking some seeds for Hyacinth vine Antague Rouge now. Several of them are floating...does this mean the seed is not good?

Supposedly seeds that float aren't viable, but I've had floaters germinate before so if you've got room I'd go ahead and start them and see what happens.

Well, they ended up sinking later on...........I sowed them so we'll see.
Thanks, I thought that might be the case if they float.

It is a false theory that floating seeds aren't viable. A few may be but it is not an indication that all are. I used to think the same thing, until I read otherwise on the web. Sometimes when you place the seeds in water to soak, there may be a tiny air bubble just under the seed that keeps it afloat.

I have tested this and sown seeds that floated. They germinated like those that sunk to the bottom.
