9:30 EST: Just heard the Canadians are tracking 3 planes... Dear God.

Louisville, KY(Zone 6a)

I hope this isnt going to continue! I have feard that something else would happen. I can't undersstand why whoever has orchestrated this haneous crime against humanity would stop with just one attack...they have been planning this for some time.

Yesterday, I had hoped was an isolated event!

God give us your strength!

from CNN: Canadian military planes are tracking jet 3 planes that seem to be heading towards Vancouver... no one seems to know who's flying them, or a destination. Pray, pray.

I heard that too this morning, but nothing since. Wish someone knew.

God help us all!

These planes have been identified to us as being on humanitarian missions. Everyone's staying calm here.

Good, I figured after hearing nothing for as long as it has een was at the least 'good news'.
Thanks Liz

Sorry to be tardy in a further response. I heard the news I reported @ about 9:30, and the update @ the 10:00 EST update on CNN. Surprises me that there has been no further mention, although I have been away from the TV much of the day. Was it really humantarian flights (then why the military tracking?) or has the government(s) put a lid on it?

Was not trying to panic anyone... we ALL need to remain calm... BUT we all need to pray as well.

The way I heard it on the local news was that it was 1 plane on a humanitarian mission being escorted by 2 Canadian Forces CF18s. Think it was just a reporting error.
Diverted planes are now being able to leave canadian airports for other destinations. But there are over 100 grounded planes in YVR alone sitting on the tarmac. A lot of these don't regularly fly in here so there is expected to be a sizable delay getting them out. Hope everyones patience holds out and everyone gets home soon.
