Just Pay!!!

Okay, deep breath. Just put away my $126.85 worth of stuff from Costco...8 items.
Not the checkers fault; but the line was about 1000 people deep, all lanes open and bludging; it's time for her break, so she stops and counts the money, wraps it rubber bands, writes it down, have it witnessed. Next checker, gets his stuff all ready; does a pretty quick job of getting going on the check out. The shopper has about a million dollars worth of stuff in his cart..he's chatting w/his wife; time to pay; Oh his Costco card is expired..no he doesn't want to re-new today..he'll do it next time...okay, then pay for the stuff. Now he and his wife Debate about Who's Turn it is to pay! She takes out a Credit card; Costco says "no"; he says he'll write a check; then say "oh the ck books in the car"; Wife says."oh, Okay, i'll pay"..hands over a Wad of Cash.
Some people don't seem to understand that do have to pay for the stuff, and be ready to do so when the checker stops scanning.

Something like this always happens to me in a store...I tell shoppers that are backing up behind me "If you see me in line at a check out....run...don't walk...to the next line...for sure I will have something that has to be checked...or the register will be out of tape". Fair warning. Jo

LOL It always happens to the people in front of US!!! Except yesterday at Kohl's. My DD wanted apair of jeans but the security tag wouldn't coem off and of course, there's no on around who can get it off for the poor girl. 10 people behind os.

Yup, I can almost guarantee the people in front of me is going to need a manager for some reason or another.

My Kohls trip---when in a hurry of course, never on a lazy day. .I got stuck behind the teenager who wanted to "SIMPLY" open a kohls charge right there. Hey great, easy for You girl, but I have to wait!!!! And don't you know that discount today will get sucked up in about two months because you're going to forget to pay this new bill and get a late fee? At least, that's what happened to me with Old Navy. LOL
Hmph- I got snagged at the door by a kohls jean security tag last week too. Darn those security people! hhee hee

Check this out. When my house in CA went into escrow we went to Home Depot to buy a 6x10 trailer. Got a HD credit card at the same time to 1. charge the trailer on it with a 10% discount, and 2. Dave needed a trailer to tote his lawn and maintenance stuff in when he got some clients back here, plus to buy new stuff. We got busy moving, I put in change of address for us at the post office, twice, we moved into our apartment, then 6 months later moved into our house, again 2 more change of address cards for us, then about a year after we moved back here Dave started getting collection calls about an unpaid Home Depot credit card. We kept thinking What HD credit card?? We then remembered the trailer... we Never got a bill and with moving and all completely forgot about it. The next time they called Dave asked him what it was for, they said the trailer. Dave asked them why didn't they bill us, they Don't Send courtesy bills, you're just supposed to pay it. Dave told them without a first bill you don't know where to send the money, you don't know your account number, and you don't have their phone number. They didn't care and tacked on $6,000 worth of interest and late fees. Dave got a supervisor on the phone and agreed since we were moving and they neglected to send a first bill they would remove all of the late fees and half the interest if we sent payment in full, which we did.
Be careful with these companies, they will try to scam you in any way they can!

They don't send bills??? I'll NEVER take one of their cards. I'm already more skeptical on others. Just use my MC and forget the rest of the store card nonsense. I don't understand my friend who has multiple store cards and then makes a separate errand to go in the store and pay the bill. I swear it just ends up with her spending more money than without the card_between yous and me_
