Found this lynx spider with two victims. I don't know if the two flys were engaged in a battle or just happened to both be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm fairly confident that the fly laying on its back with the large eyes is a Green Long Legged fly in the Dolichopodidae family but I have never seen a bright blue fly with eyes like a Salticidae jumping spider before. Can anyone help?

I'm a little puzzled here - to which eyes are you referring? The blue fly appears to have lost its head altogether; all I can see in front of its wings is its thorax.
