reusing expanded sowing pellets

What are the concerns about reusing expanded sowing pellets that contained seeds that did not germinate or plants that got too tall before I realized they'd germinated, which I plucked. I have quite a few and hate to just waste them.

I've reused them, just re-expanded with a hydrogen peroxide solution to make sure there is no fungus.

I reuse them all the time. It's always fun when you what I call "hitchhikers". Last year I had a few annual Phlox & Salpiglossis germinated later & showed up in other people's gardens that took some seedlings from me...so we call them hitchhikers
