I have always thought the dwarf part of the description refered to the size of the tree. I know this to be true. However today a customer told me they believe dwarf trees only produce fruit for about 5 years then they quit because they are dwarf trees. I couldn't comment on this because I have never heard this before. So is this true? Do dwarf fruit trees only produce for several years then quit or do they produce as long as non dwarf trees?
Question about Dwarf fruit trees?
Not true.
Resin
Resin is correct. Definitely not true. They produce for years and years, yet remain manageable in size...just right for the home gardener. There are also semi-dwarf fruit trees which get larger, but still good for most yards.
Thank you. I didn't think this was true but I thought I better find out.
