Where can I buy this seedling watering gizmo?

Duxbury, MA(Zone 7a)

Has anyone seen anything like this for sale recently? My father bought a couple of these probably 20 years ago, and we've been using them ever since. But the cork is drying out, and I have to hold the stopper in or it falls out and makes a big sink hole in whatever I'm watering. I've never seen another one anywhere. Any leads?

Here's another photo, you stick it in any plastic bottle.

I don't know where to get one, but it looks like what my Mom used to use for ironing.

my honey took a small drill bit to a soda bottle cap and make a home made version for free

great idea onewish, I'll see if my father can do that.
And yes, it's the same idea that my mother used to "sprinkle" the clothes for ironing.
It's great to water delicate seedlings

I purchased a pack this year from T&M Seeds. Item # M2081.They're called Bottle Top Waterers or Bottle Top Roses.
They are plastic so I'm guessing they won't last as long as they good ole fashioned metal ones, but it's a set of 4 for $6.95.
Depending on if you need other items from Thompson & Morgan, shipping may be more than the waterers, but maybe you could do a search for them elsewhere based on what they are called. I've seen them in other gardening catalogs.

Thanks, I can't believe I didn't notice those before, but I found a set last night in another catalog.

cool idea! i've got a little watering can with a tiny spout that's perfect for seedlings. Folks on the AV & gessie forum have mentioned using plastic squirt bottles (like used for condiments or in hair coloring) to direct a small, gentle stream of water down into containers.

my water has a lot of chlorine in it... I like to use the soda bottles because it can have time to evaporate out of the water... always have plenty on hand....I started using a pump sprayer with a misting tip on it... it's nice I don't have to pull the flats out of the shelf to get the back ones... the wand makes life easy

To water seedling, I use one of those gravy things with a rubber bulb on one end to draw water into the chamber/tube. It looks like a large syringe. Works great!

Hmm, I think my turkey baster is moving outside.

I keep 4 basters..One indoors in my houseplant planting/tending basket. One in my "seedlings in the garage March till June till they go outside" tool/gadget basket. One in the greenhouse...They are indispensable...Oh, and one indoors for turkeys (etc.).

Used my watering rose yesterday for the first time. LOVE it!

Lehman's sells the sprinkling top although the sprinkler end is plastic nowadays. :) Just google Lehman's. It's in the laundry section there.

thanks for the Lehman's tip, I found it
