You, you may recall, were also the destination!!! I've been a little curious about your here-and-there-ability...in no way was I dissing the emu...just hadn't thought you the type to ride an emu hard across country just in time to ride herd on chickens all the way home...

We're ridin' to Dodge City. That's where all the drives go, unless they go all the way to KC. And ya eat flapjacks (not pancakes; that's so fey) and beans on a drive.
As fer not doin' much... at least I can ride and am secure enough to leave the recliner seat at home. I'll be busy scootin' and bootin' 'round the herd while yer tinkerin' with that infernal contraption. Small engines... the best excuse for not getting any work done.
Hope yer tunin' up yer yodel... with a voice like yers, ain't no doubt whose gonna be puttin' the herd into gear...

Oh..such a sad story. I had something like that happen once on the other end of the scale. Air went out on 105 day and all eggs cooked. I wish I still had chickens. I'd send you LOTS and LOTs of eggs.
