My last bird feeder purchase was off of Ebay. The feeder was half the price it was in the stores and other websites. The seller was great!
Show Us your Bird Feeders, Vol. 12
Oooh! I like that one. Better baffle it well, my squirrels chew through plastic like they have knives for teeth.
I really need to get something that is enclosed to keep the seed dry. Hard to find something inexpensive and large enough for the bigger birds too.
Thank you, everyone, for sharing your photos. Wonderful thread.
Froggies in the wind chimes!
Squirrels actually outsmarted by a human!
This is the best way to spend a coffee break!
Hi GM, It looks like a roosting pocket. I had a few a while back. Maybe tuck it in a evergreen somewhere. Let us know if you see it being used.
Great job GM!!!
Good idea!
Great job.....should work!
Here is a feeder my dau bought me. Came from Wild Birds Unlimited. The perch is spring tensioned and adjustable so it will close if heavier birds or a group of Sparrows land on it. I have to keep it adjusted just right so Mr. Redbelly can poke around for peanuts. It's a quality feeder. I've had this one several years.
Oh what a grand picture of Mr Red Belly" poking for peanuts. I never even thought about that being what mine was doing out there, but bet he's also searching for his favorite nut!!
With the Oriol feeders....Doesn't the grape jelly attract ants??
Nice pic red! That feeder is actually a Squirrel Buster Plus that is painted a different color and put out by WBU.
How long have you had it? I love both of mine!
Yes almost any food will attract ants so you will need an ant moat.
That is why I just put out so much in a dish and let the raccoons have any that's left. then start all over fresh the next day. Works out pretty good for everyone!
OK....I saw my 1at set of Orioles last spring in a shrub in my front yard and deffinately want to entice them to return!!
pelle, I'v had that feeder 5 or 6 years. It's still in good shape.
I believe it red, their great feeders. Nice pic.
Well Pelle and Red...you talked me into buying one of those great feeders. The Cowbirds were eating all the finch food I have out for the Buntings and Chippers so I got this feeder for them. The Cowbirds have tried using it but it closes up very nicely when they land on it. The Chippers seem to love it though and hope the Buntings do too (if they visit us again this year)!!
I think you will be satisfied with it.
Well I will have to put that one my Christmas list...This is an feeder that belonged ot my friend John. It is a Duncraft, so it is well made, just a little rusty. I am going to use it for the time being so I have another feeder for the little birds. The chickadees seem to really like this one!
Funny how different birds like the different ones....

CBL that a very nice feeder.
Very nice and different!
Thanks y'all. I found it at a local Fred's discount store.
Mercy me, I guess so!
It's a nice feeder Red. Our Goldfinches seem to have disappeared..only a few around.
OMG it is adorable!
Was thinking I should try one of those feeders, but then I don't know where I'd put it! :)
Love the feeder and that guy is funny looking! I had a juvie yesterday that looked pretty rough still!
I need to get an enclosed feeder before winter. I am trying to decide between the Squirrel Buster or this one. Didn't somebody have one of these? Would like to know how it did for you. Keeping seeds dry and squirrels out are the priorities.
