God Bles Us All

I have tried to enter the chat room but wasn't able to get in, I didn't want to bother Dave with my little problem at this trying time. I like the rest of you here hope and pray that God will bless and keep our country safe.

God wil protect our souls, Windsurfer, but we have to stand ready to give our ultimate! Whether we care to think about it or not; we ARE in a State of War. We cannot let this faction have control, to do so would be our utter dimise!

I also couldn't make the chat room (never having before, so probably my fault). What can I say. To all my US friends, condolences of course. I have a special resaon for feeling some empathy - my next door neighbour (the widow of a very prominent journalist in the UK) has one of her sons working in Washington. He is safe. Lots of Hugs all round !!

We all have to remember that terrorism, whereever it comes from, must not be supported. I dont care if you are Catholic or Protestant, Musslem or Jew, Shinti or Athisist dont give the B******s support - verbal or financial.

Sorry Dave, probably breached Rule 1 but get real, you aint gonna solve this one by just standing on the sidelines.

Eltel thank you for your kind words concerning our problem and I just want to say that I deplore violence in any from. I hope you keep us in your prayers as I do for the people of Ireland and maybe one day there will be peace on earth.

I have not been able to stop crying all day. I've never been so afraid of anything. What creeps me out is that we don't know who the attacker is. So how can we respond?

I am praying that the attacker will accidentally or purposely reveal their identity so that the US can stop further problems and respond to this destruction.

They say that more have died today than in all of the Viet Nam war. And all these were private innocent citizens.

I do not believe there will ever be peace on earth until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to reign as it says in the scriptures; what I do believe is that we are living in the end times, and that this is just the beginning. The final conflict will be in the middle east; that is predicted in Revelation and throughout the Bible.

Watch and pray, sisters and brothers. If you have not decided what to do with Jesus... perhaps now is a good time to make that decision. I wonder how many in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were believers... and shudder to think how many may not have been.

This is just what I believe... if you don't agree please don't lambaste me, I just don't want anyone who is called to Christ to miss out because they hesitated or waited one day too long.

Lets hope they get theirs.

This is what I use to have nightmares about when I was four and five years old. My father served in ww1 and would tell my mom the horror stories of that war, I would listen to these stories and dream that we were being bombed. In the dream one bomb hit close to our house and my mother was hurt but I was to scared to stop and help her, I would wake up in a cold sweat to scared to go back to sleep and feeling guilty for not helping my mom. I didn't stop having these dreams until I was eleven years old,this has brought it all back to me. I remember people telling me that it could never happen here and how stupid I was.

Lucky for us Ohioans, there isn't much they might want to bomb where we live... that is a small comfort to me.

I will pray that you don't have any more nightmares. I know how terrible that can be. Sometimes as adults we don't realize how much our stories affect children.

When I was a kid we used to have bomb drills where we hunkered down under our desks -- as if that would help us survive a nuclear attack!? We lived in a state of panic. I graduated in 1974 -- right at the end of the Viet Nam WAR, and we were all wearing POW bracelets and praying that our boys would come home...

It's all so senseless. But it makes me appreciate what I have all the more. I am so blessed.

My mom was born and raised in akron ohio! =)
i agree to with what the bible says in revalation and daniel. There will be a time of trouble such as never was before. i dont like to push my beliefs on others-so I try not to mention things here-but we all need to understand that God will come again, and we will be judge by the Law...please read the 10 commandments in the king james bible for that is the laws in which we are judged.

Janie we had the same drill at Sacred Heart School and thank you for your prayers they are much appreciated. I am not having the dreams now thank God but you know how you dream something and when it happens it sort of amazes you...that was the feeling I got and I just felt a little dazed about it.

Nana that doesn't surpise me how people can act at times like these.
