CLOSED: What kind of spider?

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

This is one that I haven't seen before. Do you know what it is? That symbol on its back is actually a pale green color.

This is an orb-weaving spider (family Araneidae), possibly of of the tropical orb weavers in the genus Eriophora - see http://tinyurl.com/bovfgr for an example. Please bear in mind that the abdominal markings of these spiders, like those of many orb weavers, are highly variable, making specific identification in the field difficult. In many cases, microscopic examination of the spiders' genitalia is necessary to determine species.

Thanks y'all!

Suunto, you managed to find one that looks just like mine. That's amazing b/c when I looked up Eriophora, the markings were all over the map. I appreciate the help.
