Not sure if this is the 'right' forum, but I'm sure you guys will know the answer... I successfully sowed two flats of Cleome and have TONS of little babies ready to be pricked out and placed in individual containers for the next 6 weeks before I can safely transplant them outside to the gardens. Since they will be in a container for 6 weeks, what size container do they need to keep them happy for that period? Maybe a dumb question, but I haven't grown Cleome before so don't know what to expect. I picked up a package of 45x 8.5oz cups for a dollar at the dollar store (maybe 4-5" deep, ~3-4"diameter at top - do yall think those would be ok? Thanks for the help. Stacey

I think the size pots you have will work fine, and even smaller ones (like cell packs) would probably work fine as well no longer than they'll need to be in them. Cleome are pretty tough, so just the extra room for roots will make them happy in either case.
Thanks Gemini!
