We had to have Lady put to sleep in August. You know my son's hearing ear dog that went deaf. Yudi was devistated, he still has her ashes on his dresser. Well we bought him a new dog who is a perfect fit for him. Small, extremely active, loves to travel and very outgoing and friendly he also eats litterally anything (loves radishes, oranges, avacado, food). He also came with one other bennie. Genetically he's programed to go after anything thats tiny and moves. You kniow, things like (dare I say it) voles, moles, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits. You know those cute furry things we all love. He likes to supliment his diet with them when he's feeling a bit peckish. He will even stand over a run and listen for the critters and then start digging like mad (he looks like a little white rototiller at work). One time he followed a run practically the whole length of the yard til he got the creature. Oh no you don't under stand they were heading for the lilly bed. Do I care about the lawn? That's just more space to plant lillies in. You have all your 8 year old Heloborous chewed up and see how you feel. And just think he's organic.

He looks so sweet and innocent! Hope he can learn where his boundaries are so he doesn't "unplant" everything you plant.

We used to have a boxer that loved onions. She would go in the garden, pull one up and lay on the lawn eating it, tears just streaming down her face! Just as happy as could be....
