rescued lilies

Vandalia, IL

Hello from Dee I live 63 miles east of St.Louis,,zone 5-6..We had a period where lots of my babies ,orential and asantic ,got heaved up, and then it froze so quick I couldn't push them back down, soooo I potted them up,just in potting soil, and put them in my heated glass house..No blooms yet... and they are 12'' tall ,and doing quite well....but come warmer season,,do you think I should just plant them...??????? Treat them like new bulbs? plant them deeper?? any advice will be welcome..

Sounds like you'll have some early blooms! Come Spring, I'd acclimate them to the outdoors and then plant so the bulb is about 6 inches deep. The stem will probably die back earlier than normal this year but will come up on a regular schedule next year.
