Saw this in a mall planter in Santa Cruz; I've been told at a nearby nursery that it may be a cuphea or a salvia. The plant was about 36" x 36".
This photo is "stitched" with the closup of the bloom on the left, and the plant on the right.
Anyone recognize it?
Definitely Cuphea not Salvia...there are a couple ones that look close, hopefully someone else will know which one it is.
