Ok, I have found the identity of the shrub I have in my yard and would like to plant more. If I plant the seeds that come out of the fruit will they grow? I have searched everywhere and can't find anything about planting them from seeds. Everything says they are invasive and seeds are spread by animals but I don't have any new ones growing and the birds eat them like crazy. Any suggestions or ideas?

This is the shrub name: Thorny elaeagnus and a photo of the berries
