i'm so excited i'm a new aunt!! my brother's first baby was born today. meet baby karma Aileen born about 7:30 am today and weighed 8lbs and is 20 in long.
i'm a new aunt today!!
she had to be admitted to the icu unit(neonatal) when my sister and i was leaveing, due to problems breatheing. please keep baby karma, my brother and her mommy in ur prayers.

awe, thanks everyone, i had to share pics of her!! heather will be home from the hospital today but baby karma can't come home yet. they believe she has an upper respitory infection so she will be staying in the nic unit for awhile. please keep her in your hearts and prayers.

thank u all so much for the warm thoughts and prayers. sorry i haven't been around much to update alot i have been busy makeing stuff, watching karma's sister who is 3 and getting things done for my son's b-day. karma did come home and is doing great!!!
since alot of u love homemade things thought i'd share one of the things i've been working on. this is one of the dresses for my jelena for her b-day comeing. i'm makeing karma a baby quilt also will post a pic when it is finished.
Silkie: Jelena is such a cutie, I love the pic's with her and the birds. She has such an adorable smile.
Karma as well is so beautiful, we are all so happy she is home with her family. You are such a good mommy, auntie, and caretaker of all your animal and poultry friends. We are all very proud of you.
Silkie!!! Guess what??? One of my customers brought over a silkie hen, and rooster. She gave them to me as a gift, told me after she visited my set up for my chickens, she was convinced that I should have them. I almost cried, I was so taken aback. They are (espec the hen) so adorable and I am so excited to have them. The hen has already laid two eggs and I have only had then four 5 days.
What a darling lil dress! Jelena is such a doll.. How in the world do you get time to sew!!!?? :)

i fineally got to see karma again yesterday and love her up,lol. oh what a sweet angel. i fineally got to see her with her bright blue eyes open for a few min. she slept most of the time but i just sat there given auntie silkie kisses to her and rubbing her soft strawberry blonde hair while she slept on my chest all snuggled up like a bug in a rug. she does this cute hand thing on her face all the time it is too cute! always has her hands up or stretching looks like a porceilan doll. i could of held her all day just sitting their watching her she was so peaceful and beautiful.
got me inspired seeing her again so i fineally finished her baby quilt i've been makeing for her. not bad for the first one i've made in about 4 years i was a little rusty,lol but i hope she likes it when she is bigger.
it is done in littlest petshops animals, rainbows, reds/ hearts(cuz she was born 2 days after valantine's). the 2 frogs in the middle have fringled look to them but i forgot to do that till after i took pics. the center cat is 3-d framed with ruffle to match outside of quilt trim.
the back is pink gingham and the trim around whole quilt is pink/purple/yellow with bubbles.
She will always remember it. I remember my baby quilt...maybe from when I was three or four and kept studying the figures on it. And yours has so many things to look at!
Isnt that beautiful! Its a little girls dream to have a pretty blanket like that. Wonderful Silkie! AND its Little Pet Shop. My daughter collects those little things and all their houses! It takes up a large cornner of her room!! SWEET!
