Thanks everyone, all is fine, looks horrible, but is fine LOL! It was another dose of skin cancer and you know how that goes. He has even more to do in a month or so and perhaps a skin graft as it is a large area, but for a person who loves the outdoors and the gardens, what is one to do? Thanks for thinkin of me, I'll be fine.

Dianne - you have a mt. cabin, don't you just love the wood stove. We used to go to ours more in the winter, but when we do we have to lug water to flush and that is quite a chore for our age so we mostly go when we get the water turned back on which will be in about another month.

OMG Terri you must be reading my mind. Yesterday while off I took a look in the cupboard and spied some lemon cook n serve pudding and thought how much I would love to have some lemon meringue pie!!! You surely fill the bill.
Must admit I was in the garden yesterday on my return home and did manage to do enough to get the sutures bleeding so Steve made me stop, I don't listen well, but no dirt got in the wounds. Soon as these heal I go back for more and a likely skin graft, yuk.
Now where did you get those lovely yellows? I noticed yesterday that my daffs are coming up. I am always draggin stone around and noticed one patch of daffs on either side of a rock and when I pulled up the rock voila, there were some pittiful whitish daffs under the rock.

Funny you should say that about the daffs, I was 'looking' at my mess in the greenhouse and found some pots with bulbs coming up, all whiteish leaves LoL! Btw, florists daffs in the teapot!

Terri, I sure wish I had good news from my area...just returnd from town, the town is closed due to flooding, the river is up. Many roads are closed and some people have already evacuated. No through traffic and traffic is being re-routed.
Will know more in a few days if this is a FEMA thing again or not.
Oh no blossom, what a gloom and doom outlook that photo is. What river is it that is flooding? Sure hope you get some relief and sunshine your way soon. I'd send some, but we don't have any here either, but we are fortunate to not have the flooding problem.
Terri, I expect the kids to come on Friday so perhaps a late Sunday lunch or early dinner party would work. We gotta make sure Elle is available so she can celebrate as well, so how bout that elle are you around on Sunday the 22nd. late afternoon or early eve?

Federal Emergency Management Assoc. FEMA they help out in times of disaster Terri, least they are supposed to.
Well, GW Bush did get us FEMA assistance last year 2 x when the town flooded. This time, does not look like it is that bad.. just the usual normal flooding.. not what we had that was above and beyond so no FEMA this time.. They sure took a licking in New Orleans with it though when Katrina hit.. what a mess. Ijust returned again from town and the main drag is closed.
