Germinating kiwi, guava, & dragon fruit

Hester, LA(Zone 9a)

Tried to do purple kiwi twice without a sprout, have 1 black Chilean guava out of about 50, and 5 dragonfruit out of about 75. Tried to start them the same way I do tomatoes and peppers with about 95% plus germination. No luck whatsoever germinating these.

Also wondering what to do with tree seeds that might take several months to germ - never tried to grow trees from seed... purple star apple, bay laurel, sour orange, etc., etc...

Pawleys Island, SC

I wish I could help, I have soaked dragonfruit seeds and then sowed in a ziplock baggie with soil instead of paper towels. I had really good germination rates with that method. I have never tried to do kiwi, but guava usually germinate easily with the soaking and baggie method. I hope this is helpful.
