I know this is a gardening forum but I'm hoping someone can help. This bug was found in my belly button last night. Yes it is totally gross, but I'm freaking out because I've had some unresloved abdominal numbness for the last 3 weeks that the docs can't figure out and I want to know if this thing is the culprit!! The photo below shows the close-up. The spots are on the underside, than tan is the top. This peice is about 1/2mm big.

This appears to be a disarticulated abdomen of a long-dead true bug (Hemiptera/Heteroptera), likely either in the family Pentatomidae (stinks bugs) or Coreidae (leaf-footed bugs). In either case, it would not be responsible for your symptoms.
